#fistbumps for all!
The most successful bloggers, I’m finding, are also the most generous. They freely give away their first rate content, invaluable resources and their valuable time.
Dan King, of Fistbump Media, is one such blogger that comes to mind.
I first heard of Dan through a webinar on blog redesign hosted by the also-generous blogger Crystal Stine.
Then, I hesitatingly decided to request information about getting Victoria’s Ramblings redesigned. As a newish blogger and mama-to-be, discretionary funds aren’t a huge part of my budget if you know what I mean. The cost to get a rocking awesome new look for my site really concerned me. What so impressed me about Dan was his willingness to meet with me anyway. We were able to chat through some ideas, outline a few objectives, decide on a price I could afford and Viola! my blog is looking spiffier than ever. (And, yes, I hope spiffier is a word.)
Recently I decided to check out Fistbump’s webinar on email subscription management. Though I’ve learned a lot about email management from my day job, I found this webinar useful because it applied directly to me – a little blogger with big dreams. That webinar prompted me to not be afraid to take the plunge to do more with my email newsletter. (You can sign up on the right if you’re interested in getting regular-ish notes from me!) I’ve already connected with some awesome people from my newsletter, which has only encouraged me to expand my newsletter more.
Dan and the folks involved with Fistbump Media truly seem interested in helping. They generously work with bloggers to find a strategy that works for them. And, really, not just bloggers but anyone who needs digital media services. In doing so, they’re making the blogosphere a better place.
thanks for this! you ROCK, victoria! crystal and i are having a blast helping folks out! we love being a support to so many with such awesome messages to share! and i’m really glad to hear how much you love the new look here!
That’s why you guys are so awesome, Dan 🙂 It’s so easy to thank awesome people! Really do appreciate everything!
I don’t know how I missed this post! I’ll have to watch the webinar you linked to.
Hope you find it helpful Deanna! 🙂
