I've Been Hard At Work…

I’m long overdue a post! My last writings came from a harder place of life, and first I want to give you an update as to how I’m doing.

Through a winding process of medical detective work (which we’re still on!) I discovered that I have a vitamin deficiency. At least for now, that’s the best guess as to the cause of my depressive feelings and exhaustion. I’ve been on supplements and am already feeling better. I’m still having to tone down many of my activities (which if you know me in real life you’ll know this is a huge struggle!) but I’d rather go slow and steady now, than crash and burn later.

As a family, we’ve been pursing health and wellness and it’s been quite refreshing. Wanting to steward our bodies well (I think) came quite naturally following our commitment and steps to become debt free. We’ve been saying ‘No’ to more, and ‘Yes’ to less. Sometimes I feel like the no-fun friend or family member, but the joy and peace OUR family has experienced with more of a minimal mindset is worth it. Our priorities are in line and it feels good to pursue those with confidence.

One factor over the past year has truly made it possible for us to pivot our lifestyle, and that is Virtual Assistant work! Some of you may know, I’m on the team of Brilliant Business Moms. I work about 20 hours a week, mostly for Beth Anne but I do a few side projects here and there. The freedom of working at home has greatly enriched our household! We certainly aren’t perfect, but by God’s grace we’ve been establishing healthy routines of work and rest. And we. just. feel. BETTER. for it.

Several months ago my fellow team member Carlee and I were dreaming about how wonderful it would be if more of our mom friends knew what a difference ‘VA’ could make in their everyday life. And the more we talked, the more we realized maybe WE could be the ones to tell our friends!

I’m so happy to say that we’re hosting an online class to do exactly that:

Make Money From Home Without Selling a Thing
A Free Class on Changing Your Family’s Financial Future

We’ll be sharing this class at two different times – Thursday June 15th and Saturday June 17th – so you can choose the one that best fits your mom schedule. Click here for more details and to register!

I hope that my absence on this blog will be made up for in the content we’ve been preparing in this class! And the end of the class we’ll tell you about our full extended course you can buy, but we made sure to deliver high value in both products.

I’d love to see some friendly faces in class! Let me know if you plan on attending!
