I hate asking for help.

I’m a stubborn hard-head that would rather suffer than show any sign of weakness or inability.

Which is, of course, completely ridiculous.

Humans are created to be in community. We are hardwired to need each other. Our desire for fellowship is tainted by sin, which is why some people (ahem) avoid community and others abuse it, but we were made for it.

When it comes to self-publishing, you’re going to need help.

Ask for it.
