Use A Hashtag

Provide your readers with an easy way they can discuss your book by using a hashtag.

For my book, I’m using the hashtag #ReandTheBook.

Reference the hashtag often and watch it catch on!

Use a site called Tagboard to track all mentions of your hashtag across social media. Tagboard is also a great way to gauge if your hashtag is currently being used.

(And a note on that, you do not need to be on all social media ever. Just use the platforms that come naturally – assuming your audience is also there – and use them well.)
