The Horrible Moment I Became "That" Person

I didn’t see it coming.

Truly, I didn’t.

It happened without warning. I couldn’t fathom that one minute I’d been enjoying a rehearsal dinner and the next transform in to the monster that is *that* person.

You know the one.

That person.

The unsolicited advice giving person.

O help.

Glowing, the bride described their Hawaiian honeymoon plans to me.

I nodded, smiling.

Then opened my big mouth and actually said these words, “Remember to pack sunscreen! I know someone who went on their honeymoon in Puerto Rico and got crazy bad sunburn. It was awful!”

Really?

Just had to say that.

I just couldn’t let it go.

Totally unnecessary.

And that, friends, to my great dismay is the moment I realized I became that person.

It can happen to the best of us.

I was expecting much worse, haha. Not a big deal…now horrific labor stories….that’s another thing altogether! 🙂

LOL Sarah 🙂 Well thank you very much! Makes me feel better. And you’re right that unsolicited labor horror stories are a totally different beast!
