Self-publishers may have a heightened sense of awareness about the quality of their work. (I imagine because they have to give themselves permission. They have to make the call as to whether or not their art is ‘good enough’.)

Go boldly forward, self publisher. And know that you’re not as good as you will be, but you must start somewhere.
