Of Galaxies and Eyelashes

My morning Bible reading led me to reflect on the grandness of God.

And I had a thought.

The God who flung galaxies into orbit, is the same God who feathered my daughter’s eyelashes across her cheek.

We serve a God who creates on the largest and smallest of scales.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1

I love thoughts like this. It’s how I came to know the Lord–through nature and the impossibilities of the human body and the intricacies of the smallest flower lining the paths I used to walk…and how it all [nature] works together so well. Later, I found out that “He holds it all together”. Amen.

I, too, came to a realization for God’s grandness…in that He is GOD and still takes care of me. Beautiful little girl and wonderful post.

That’s a beautiful step further to take this thought, Catherine. Not only is he grand, he CARES for US!
