Day 26) Create and respond to your own prompt.

What have you learned about your writing during 31 Days of Writing Creatively?

I’ve learned that writing is as much an art as it is an exercise.

I’ve learned that waiting moments are sometimes the best writing moments: waiting for dinner to finish, waiting to catch a ride, waiting to fall asleep.

I’ve learned that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, as The Nester – and host of this 31 Day challenge – says.

I’ve learned that surprising insights can arise when you’re given a wild card.

I’ve learned that there’s an amazing group of readers surrounding Victoria’s Ramblings. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you!

I’ve also learned that you’ll never know when you’re going to meet a kindred spirit on the Interwebs.

I’ve learned that planning is the key to consistency, and planning leads to proclivity.

That the perfect Pandora station can do wonders to nurture creative impulses.

I’ve learned that I can be someone else when I write.

Above all, I’ve learned that I actually can do something consistently for 31 days.

Love how you took advantage of the waiting moments!
Love “planning is the key to consistency, and planning leads to proclivity. ” So true. I need to plan better. . .

I’m taking advantage now because I hear things will change when our little one gets here 🙂

And I actually surprised myself with planning for this one! I’m usually a good planner but not a great follower-through-er. I’ll get jazzed about one idea, then want to move onto another.

      Thanks for reading!
