Day 17) Write about pulling an all-nighter.
The All-Nighter
as told by your alarm clock
10:00pm Crank up Pandora and pour the coffee.
10:02pm You can do this! You can totally do this.
10:15pm Dang, girl! You’re a studying BEAST!
10:20pm Sure it’s time for a little Facebook break, you’ve earned it!
10:30pm Alright, keep rolling sister!
10:50pm Bathroom break (all that coffee had to go somewhere, right?)
10:55pm While you’re up, pour yourself another cup.
11:00pm First yawn of the evening sighted.
11:02pm Renew your resolve, this paper won’t write itself.
11:45pm Woah! You just wrote for a sold 45 mins! Congrats!
11:50pm Roommate stumbles in after a date.
11:51pm You can catch up for a second, it’s the polite thing to do.
Midnight Catch up session turns into a singles awareness event.
12:40am You seriously better get back on this paper.
12:45am Stop staring at the wall, just start writing.
1:00am There we go.
1:30am Two more pages down, not bad.
1:45am I figured you’d have to pee again.
2:50am Kudos for getting right back on it!
2:15am Need to do some research online to finish this point.
2:45am Catching up on celebrity news is not research.
2:50am Now we’re back on track.
3:30am Ah, click-clacking of the keyboard – just what I like to hear.
3:40am Now you’re snoring.
4:00am You better wake up! You’ve got a few more pages to write, lady!
4:30am What do you mean “How could I let you sleep?” I’m supposed to go off at 6:30, not two hours before.
4:45am Doesn’t look like you’ve made much progress, I’d throw in the towel if I were you.
4:46am Yep, that’s what I thought. Sweet dreams, princess.
5:00am (PS. You’re going to have some killer pillow marks when you wake up! LOL)
I really like this! Your alarm clock sounds pretty smart-alecky 😉

It is a pretty sassy alarm clock! Lol Not sure that it’s “mine” per say…if it was I’d probably chuck it out the window! lol Thanks for reading!
Great article, Victoria! I have to pull my first over-nighter for work tonight so I got a good kick out of this.
Hey hey, thanks for reading! And good luck with that over-nighter. You’re too legit to quit, my friend.
