Day 6) Write a poem.
I breathe and so does she.
Her life is wrapped up in mine.
Lending my blood, oxygen, and genomes,
our sustenance sources from the same field of cells.
She is a soul inhabiting a body,
inhabiting my body which also houses a soul.
We are a mystery to each other,
this tiny passenger and I.
A mystery, only, until she shouts with a breath of life.
At which point her breath will surely take away mine.

Great poem! Can feel your longing to meet – face-to-face – your little girl. So happy for you guys 🙂
Thank you Lesley 🙂 We’re thrilled! I love being pregnant and a side benefit is that it’s been very creatively inspiring!
Looooove this!!!
