Who would wake a slugabed?
Who would smell a rotten tomato?
Who would talk to a silly head?
Who would shake idle hands?
Who would visit a pack rat?
Who would play with a lazy bones?
Who would hug an old bat?
Who would cuddle a sourpuss?
Who would laugh with a tattletale?
Not me, not you
Not any of us!
So don’t be a couch potato,
a tattletale or a slugabed.
Make friends by thinking less of yourself,
and much, much more of them.
