Lots to say, but little time and energy to say it

This Easter weekend my grandma and sister surprised me (well, sort of surprised me!) with a visit to My (New) Old Kentucky Home! We had a really lovely time and, most importantly, a really lovely celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. He is Alive!

Even in the midst of all this euphoria, I am very aware of the many struggles that face people I know and care about. Life changes in a blink, or even quicker. Even still, our joy is rooted in Christ not in our highs and lows.

This week I want to continually put Jesus in front of my eyes. When the world seems like its spiraling out of control, taking unexpected turns, or just doesn’t make sense – may I, may we all, cling to the cross. The cross that is empty for our good and God’s glory.
